What happens to your files
When you upload files to uploIA, they are processed by our AI to organize them into a structured ZIP. After processing, your files are stored temporarily so you can download the result. All files are automatically deleted after 24 hours. You can also delete them immediately at any time using the "Delete now" button.
Opt-in extended storage (Pro / Business)
Paid subscribers may explicitly opt-in to keep their organized files longer: up to 30 days on the Pro plan or 90 days on the Business plan. This toggle is never pre-selected โ the default for every account, on every tier, remains 24-hour auto-delete. You can revoke opt-in at any time from your dashboard and delete saved files instantly. Even during extended retention we never persist file content in our database โ only the organized output stays on disk until the window expires.
What we store
Only if you create an account, we store: your email address, usage dates, and file counts (for quota tracking). Without an account, we store nothing about you beyond a temporary session identifier that expires with your files.
What we never store
- File content or extracted text
- Original file names
- AI analysis results or metadata
- Any information derived from your files
None of this ever touches our database. It exists only in temporary storage and is permanently deleted within 24 hours.
Google Gemini API
We use Google's paid Gemini API to analyze and organize your files. All API calls are made with store: false, which means Google does not retain your data and does not use it for training. See Google's Gemini API data policy for details.
Your rights (LGPD / GDPR)
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Files are already auto-deleted within 24 hours regardless. For any privacy-related requests, contact us at privacy@uploia.com.
